Detailed Schedule

Congratulations to all Fairland athletes who made it to J.O. National Championships. As all of you know, Nationals will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia. If you read through this post, you will be able to find a detailed schedule for each athlete. The Number 1 or 2 in each column refers to the number assigned to the equipment, ie. Trampoline #1 or Trampoline #2. At Nationals there will be two sets of Trampolines, two Double-Mini Trampolines, and two Tumbling strips. You need to arrive at the competition arena 30 minutes before your training time and 45 minutes before your flight. If you are in the first flight you need to be there 20 minutes before the session start time. (First flight time is 15 minutes after session start time).

Click here for info about transportation from the host hotels to convention center.

Please review the schedule that I prepared and compare it with the start lists on the USAG website. If you notice any discrepancies, please let me know right away.

Athletes will need passes to enter the convention center during competition sessions. I will distribute athlete passes during the training sessions on Sunday and Wednesday. Passes will not be required for entry into the training sessions. If you need your pass before your athlete training session, call me at 301.379.7397 to make arrangements.

Maryland T-Shirts for Nationals

Another Maryland team (Mt. Airy Gymnastics) designed a T-shirt to represent our state at Nationals. You may have seen some of these at Regionals.

I received the ordering info and changed the team name and location for Fairland. I kept the design the same as the original, but when you go online you’ll see that you can play around with it and change it if you want.

The website is CustomInk.com and you can use my email address to retrieve the design if you cannot see it below.

Prices are lower when you buy in bulk, so if someone wants to do a group order that would be great.

May 26 Deadline for Nationals Registration

Athletes who qualify at States or Regionals, and plan to compete at Nationals this year, need to have the entry fee deposited into their FTTBC accounts by May 26.  You will also need to notify Konstantin via email of your plans to compete at Nationals.

If your child does not have enough money in their meet fee account at 8pm on May 26, they will not be registered for Nationals. Contact Dwayne Parris for questions about your meet fee account.

The entry fee for Nationals is $125 for the first event, and $20 for each additional event.

Grand March at Nationals

The Grand March at Nationals and Regional All Star competition will be held in the San Jose Convention Center Saturday June 27. This will be the only time that our whole team will be together for an event at Nationals. It’s a fun night and will be a highlight of your trip.

Athletes need to report to Hall 1 promptly at 515 for The Grand March. They need to be dressed in warm up pants, jacket, white socks, sneakers and competition hair. Only athletes participating in the Grand March will receive the Grand March souvenir.

The March will begin at 6 pm, but spectators should get in early to get tickets and seats. Tickets are $6. If you’ve already purchased a ticket for Session 6 that day, you do not need to purchase an additional ticket.

The Regional All-Star competition will take place immediately after the Grand March. Ivanna Antezanna will be representing our region (Region 6) in trampoline.
